Student School Hours
ACSC Online Bus Route Information is Coming Soon!
Beginning August 2, 2010, ACSC parents will be able to access bus stop information online through the ACSC Transportation Department website (http://versatrans.avon-schools.org/elinkrp/). Bus routes and stops will be updated daily which will provide the quickest and easiest method for parents to obtain bus stop information. In July, ACSC parents will receive written notification from the Transportation Department that includes username and password for online access. If you have any questions please contact Avon Transportation at 317-544-6140 or by email at transportation@avon-schools.org.

Oriole Preview Day
August 10, 2010 from 7:00am – 7:00 pm. - Please mark this important date on your calendar.
This event is for parents and students.
Parents will be able to do the following:
· pay textbook rental fees
· pay lunch accounts
· supply information to the nurse
· verify demographic information
· purchase school sprit wear
Students will be able to do the following:
· have pictures taken
· obtain class schedules
· obtain supply list
· tour the school and find your classrooms
· open your locker
If you are unable to attend on this date, you may call in a credit card payment or stop by our office after August 10. School office hours will be Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 3:00pm.

Information for Families New to Avon
To enroll new students for the 2010-2011 school year you may visit the Avon Community School Corporation Administration Center just east of our school between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 pm to pick up enrollment forms and information. You may also access enrollment information and paperwork by clicking the following link: Avon Families.
Our guidance staff will be available to meet with students and parents to complete the enrollment process beginning Tuesday, August 3, 2010.

New Immunization Requirements
The Indiana State Department of Health has added 3 more immunization requirements for 6th – 12th graders beginning with the 2010 – 2011 school year.
Students entering grades 6 – 12 must have appropriate documentation of the following vaccinations: Tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis vaccine (Tdap); meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV4 – Menactra); 2 chickenpox (varicella) vaccinations appropriately spaced per CDC guidelines, or documentation of disease history, or laboratory evidence of immunity.
